Non-Asian Drama Related: Barney Confesses His Love For Robin

I know this is primarily a place for Asian Dramas, but I tend to have quite a few American shows I love, How I Met Your Mother being my favorite.

You know when you truly love someone and it kills you to see them with someone else? Well in the newest episode yesterday, our very own Barney Stinson put those feelings into words that perfectly describes it.

For anyone who does not know of this show I will explain it quickly. The show revolves around five friends looking for love in New York City, I guess you can say. Ted Mosby (Josh Radnor) is the guy this show is revolved around, in a sense. Robin Scherbatsky (Colbie Smulders) is a Canadian born gal who moved to New York City to pursue her dream of being a famous news anchor and note she was Ted's ex-girlfriend. Marshall Eriksen (Jason Segel) and Lily Aldrin (Alyson Hannigan) are college sweethearts since freshman year and still in love. Barney Stinson (Neil Patrick Harris) is the Casanova and player who has basically slept with every girl in the city. It begins in the year 2030 and Ted Mosby is telling his kids the story of how he met their mother. Basically the entire series is a flashback, but unlike asian dramas, they can keep changing and adding more until they are forced to stop where as asian dramas you write the whole thing, you film it, you advertise it, and you're finished. How I Met Your Mother has been going on for years, this being their eighth season, each with twenty two episodes.

It is most definitely a series worth watching; I've been watching it for years and people I know have just now found out about it. How frustrating it is when you've been into something for years or knew about it first, then everyone knows about it and loves it and acts like its their shit, psssssh no honey boo boo. It's mine and don't try to act all cool.

Very Very Very Very sorry for that banter, I get off track a lot. Anyways, last night as Robin was about to almost not break up with her boyfriend, Barney walks in and professes his love for her saying 

"I love everything about her and I'm not a guy that says that lightly. I'm the guy that's faked love his entire life. I thought love was just something that idiots thought they felt, but this woman has a hold on my heart that I could not break even if I wanted to. And there have been times where I've wanted to. It has been overwhelming and humbling and even painful at times, but I could not stop loving her more than I could breathing. I am hopelessly and irretrievably in love with her, more than she knows.

Thats some great lines. BEST LOVE CONFESSION LINES EVER. Neil Patrick Harris will be winning hands down if that was a category at the Emmys, but Barney and Robin for best couple most definitely.

Can you still believe that Neil Patrick Harris is Gay? Who derrr, talk about unbelievable. He'd be getting all the ladies, but I will always wish him and his family happiness and blessings.
